Emergency Preparedness

Emergency preparedness and planning is important for all members of the community, including planning for individuals with disabilities, access or functional needs.  Emergencies happen quickly and often without warning, so it is important to prepare for such emergencies.

Utah’s Special Needs Registry

The Utah Special Needs Registry allows residents with access and functional needs an opportunity to provide information to emergency response agencies so those agencies can better plan to serve them in a disaster or other emergencies. The information collected on the registry will not be available to the public, it will only be shared with emergency response agencies to improve their ability to serve.
