Parents as Partners in the IEP Process
The Utah Parent Center is pleased to present this information and training module. There are 4 parts to the IEP training series on the roles and responsibilities of parents as partners with team members and the development of the Individualized Education Program, or IEP, for their student with a disability. One overview module about the IEP process is also available in Spanish. It will be helpful for you to download a copy of the UPC handbook for parents entitled “Parents as Partners in the IEP Process”. After you have viewed the training modules, please contact the Parent Consultants at the Utah Parent Center for additional assistance. The Utah Parent Center is pleased to present this information and training module. There are 4 parts to the transition training on topics related to transition of young adults with disabilities to adult life and adult services. Following you will find links to webinars that have been hosted by the Utah Parent Center. Prior to viewing any of the webinars, you may be asked run a simple “wizard” on your computer. These “wizards” are harmless and will ensure that your computer is able to run the webinar.
