Utah Family Voices

2024-2025 UFV Workshop Calendar is here!
Who We Are
Health Care Is Complex. You Don’t Have to Navigate It Alone.
Utah Family Voices is a statewide, family-run program led by parents of children with special health care needs. As part of the National Family Voices Network, we help families navigate health care, insurance, and support systems so children and youth can live healthy, connected lives at home and in their communities.

Support for families across Utah
Family-to-family support and health information for children and youth with special health care needs

Health Care & Insurance Guidance
Helps families understand insurance, Medicaid, the Affordable Care Act, and health care coverage options.

Family-to-Family Peer Support
Connects families with trained parent leaders who have lived experience navigating special health care needs.

Information & Resource Navigation
Provides trusted information and referrals so families can access appropriate services and supports.

Education & Advocacy Support
Equips families with knowledge and skills to make informed decisions and advocate for their child’s needs.

Helping families move from overwhelm to confidence
Children and youth with special health care needs often require ongoing, coordinated services. Families are frequently left to manage complex systems, insurance challenges, and difficult decisions on their own. Utah Family Voices helps families understand their options, access supports, and advocate effectively—so they can focus on what matters most: their child’s well-being.
